WHAT IS MIGRAINE?

Migraine affects more than 10% of people worldwide, occurs most often among people aged 20 to 50 years, and is about 3 times more common in women than in men. In a large US survey, 17.1% of women and 5.6% of men reported having migraine symptoms.
Migraine symptoms can last for days and disrupt your ability to perform basic, daily tasks. In turn, this affects the physical, emotional, and social aspects of life. Even between attacks, migraine impacts quality of life, especially when people try to limit daily activities to prevent another migraine.

Innovative patented procedure for headache.

Over 40 years, Dr. Sana Bloch who is an assistant clinical professor, Emeritus Neurology, at a prestigious medical school in New York has been treating patients who suffer from chronic headaches in his New York office.  Now, he is bringing his decades of experience along with his groundbreaking and innovative patented technique for headache sufferers to several states; to New Jersey, Connecticut, and Florida, three other states in which he is duly licensed in.  He is acutely aware of the pain and discomfort that migraine sufferers live with.  It can range from mild to excruciating.  Dr. Bloch came up with a newly patented procedure that has an astonishing 75% success rate.  His revolutionary treatment for migraines, chronic headaches, and all types of facial pain is said to be completely safe and effective with patients experiencing significantly less discomfort than they would from COVID test.  Process involves passing a special cath that he calls SphenoCath® into each nostril at the lowest point of the nose.  Flexibility of the SphenoCath® allows Dr. Bloch to reach the precise area where medication is sprayed to provide long-term relief.  Because the patient is given nasal spray anesthesia, there is minimal discomfort.  The entire appointment takes less than an hour including prep time and observation time following the procedure.  The actual treatment itself takes about 30 seconds per nostril.  The procedure might be daunting to people who feel they can simply take a pill or a quick monthly injection, but unlike other options, this treatment has a substantially higher success rate with only 3% of the patients reporting one possible side effect, dizziness, which lasted no more than four hours.  Other medications used to treat migraine headaches can also have higher incidence of causing more serious side effects, including nausea, lower blood pressure, and extreme fatigue.  Before SphenoCath® was available, he had to explain to his pregnant patients there was little he could do for them by way of relief that was considered safe and effective.  Prescription migraine medications have the link with birth defects; however, Dr. Bloch's patented procedure is said to be completely safe for pregnant women.  Although there is a long list of medications and treatment options for headache sufferers, they do not always work.  Oftentimes, patients are required to first try a number of different medications before insurance companies will consider covering the cost of treatments like Emgality and Aimovig.  This process can take several months or longer; even then, there is no guarantee that these other treatments will work right away or be effective at all.  Dr. Bloch has performed over 2500 patients so far.  Although the treatment is safe, he does require that the patient first obtain an MRI to rule out any other possible causes of migraines.  The patient also must be at least 18 years of age or older in order to undergo SphenoCath®.  The cost for this patented procedure is $700 but the relief for migraines is priceless.
